Executive bodies are represented by the structural units of the Russian Government, which enforce laws on the development of Russia's Arctic territory and introduce specialized bills. The government consists of the head of government (prime minister), deputy heads of government (deputy prime ministers), federal ministries, and subordinate federal services and agencies. Some federal agencies report directly to the President of Russia, for example: the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Federal Security Service, etc. Overall, the executive authorities are involved in developing and executing budgetary commitments for the Arctic development, ensuring the Arctic state policy, and implementing measures to ensure national security in the Arctic.
